Years ago, after publishing my book, I started this blog. Now that two fabulous contributors have joined me, I am finally interested, even driven, to promote it. Sadly, I am learning it’s not easy for readers to respond from their phones. Maybe this extra layer of complexity keeps the crazy comments at bay? Maybe today’s scripture—”a time for every matter under heaven”—will ease my irritation.

a time for war, and a time for peace.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
War seems to be everywhere. All around us battles are being fought. There seems to be no escape, no end.
My prayer for today is that we will someday, somehow experience this time for peace. My faith tells me that it is possible. Peace be with you.


In early spring here in Seattle, we all go outside when it’s not raining and the sun is peeking through. Reflecting worldwide reality, there likely will be clouds in the sky but joy is prominent. Her Purpleness and I were biking yesterday, celebrating the returning light.
